This zero was kitchen spray is all over the gram for a good reason – it’s so easy to make and actually works! I use it to clean the kitchen bench, dining table and stovetop all the time
The main active ingredient is white vinegar which generations before us have been using as a disinfectant in the house. It’s about time we reclaim it!
A vinegar-based cleaner is also awesome because it’s non-toxic.
DIY tips & notes
BULK VINEGAR IN MELBOURNE – I have found bulk vinegar many places in Melbourne. To mention a few: most The Source Bulk Shops, at Friends of the Earth in Fitzroy and at the grocery store at CERES in Brunswick.
NO ORANGES? Any citrus fruit will do the job: oranges, blood oranges, limes, lemons or passionfruit (smells delicious). Citrus fruit is added for their cleaning attributes, but also for the smell.
WARNING – Do not use this spray on marble countertops or similar rock materials. As marble is a porous material, it reacts poorly with acids and risk leaving permanent marks.
